It's all about you. Bespoke lessons are tailored to your individual goals, requirements and availability. For your convenience and flexibility, these sessions can be offered as a zoom class or as a home visit or a convenient venue and time to suit you (subject to Covid restrictions). You are also most welcome to come to visit my yoga annex in Wonersh.

If you are happy, we can arrange an initial lesson and then devise a personalised programme specifically to meet your goals and requirements that can be revised as needed. Depending on your goals, we can work together over several weeks or months.
A non-slip yoga mat or a towel
A non-stretchy yoga strap (or dressing gown cord)
1-2 yoga blocks (or hard back books)
1-2 yoga bricks (toilet rolls or soup cans)
Blanket
Cushions, bolster, blanket and eye pillow for relaxation
A bottle of water
Loose light clothing or gym clothes are ideal. You can treat yourself to a yoga outfit. Yoga is done bare foot. Socks and layers are perfect for savasana.
A typical private online class lasts 60 minutes and private face-to-face classes last 90 minutes.
It really depends on your personal requirements and goals. You can choose from hatha (static yoga where poses are held for a few breaths), vinyasa or flow (when you move with the breath), restorative for relaxation, yin, a passive strong practice to work on the deep inner tissues (the fascia) or a combination. You may also wish to concentrate of breath awareness (pranayama) or developing your meditation practice. Some ideas for you to consider:
Revitalise - Active vinyasa class to build heat combined with breath awareness and relaxation
Rest and Relax - Passive restorative class with meditation and breath awareness
Calm the Mind - Gentle movement combined with breath awareness and mindful meditation
All rounder class - Gentle flow class including breath awareness, breath awareness and relaxation
Recovery and Relaxation - Yoga poses focusing on a particular injury or medical condition combined with breath awareness and relaxation
A class will usually start with breath awareness, a warm up, the full range of yoga poses (asanas) paying attention to alignment, guided meditation and savasana (relaxation).
A minimum of 24 hours cancellation is required ahead of the class otherwise the full cost of the class will be due for payment.
1-2-1 private 60 minute classes on zoom start at £45
1-2-2- private 60 minute classes on zoom start at £60
1-2-1 private 90 minute class start at £80 within a 10 mile radius of Guildford
1-2-2 private 90 minute class start at £110 within a 10 mile radius of Guildford
Block bookings are more cost effective than pay-as-you-go one-off classes. Regular yoga classes will ensure you start to feel the full benefits of yoga sooner than ad hoc sessions, but it is up to you. You may wish to supplement and compliment your group classes with weekly or monthly private classes.
