
Hello My name is Christine. I have practiced yoga for over 20 years. I am qualified to teach a wide range of yoga, meditation, mindfulness, breath work and relaxation techniques. I teach in the greater Guildford area.
I am passionate about yoga and sharing the benefits of yoga with others in a safe, friendly and relaxing environment. My dharma (passion) is to hold space and empower individuals to practice embodied yoga, meditation, mindufulness and pranayama (breath work) with compassion, awareness and joy. My vision is to make yoga accessible, inclusive and workable for all bodies by offering versatile alignment options. I love to deliver uplifting meaningful creative classes with heart and soul in a nourishing calm space that will impart a sense of overall wellbeing, community, serenity, and inspiration.

As a qualified experienced meditation teacher, I can assist you with getting the most from your meditation and mindfulness practice whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner. I can lead you through a guided meditation to achieve a goal such as stress relief. You may like to combine meditation with a yoga sequence either on an individual basis or in a group. I can help you to find your ideal meditation position or style of meditation. I can create a bespoke meditation or mantra to meet your personal goals and objectives. Pranayama (breath work) and calming practices such as shaking, self-massage, chanting, mindfulness, meditation and gentle yoga can release stress from body and mind and downregulate the nervous system and leave you feeling peaceful and at ease. I share these skills with my students so that they have a toolkit and resources to manage times of challenge in their daily lives.

I am qualified and experienced in different types of yoga depending on what is appropriate for the individual. As well as teaching hatha (static) yoga, I run gentle and dynamic vinyasa (flow) classes. In addition, I teach restorative yoga and yoga Nidra for deep relaxation.
