Hello My name is Christine. My yoga journey started over 15 years ago when I regularly started to attend all all types of yoga classes. Yoga really helped me to control my ongoing lower back pain and enabled me to manage my stress and anxiety. Yoga, breath work, mindfulness and meditation has made a significant difference to my overall physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and has become an important part of my daily life.
I completed a 200 hour Anusara® Immersion and Teaching Training in 2018-2019. In 2022, I finished my 300 hour Advanced Teacher Training. I am also a qualified yin yoga teacher and have trained to teach meditation. I have become a Certified Prenatal/Pregnancy Yoga Teacher and Certified Postnatal/Postpartum Yoga Teacher with Poppy Perinatal Yoga. I have also gained qualifications to teach yoga for the pelvic floor. Most recently, I have become a Forrest Yoga Inspired Teacher.. I don't think I'll ever stop leaning..

I teach in the greater Guildford area, in and around Cheltenham and elsewhere by arrangement as well as online, indoors and outdoors.. I specialise in Vinyasa (flow) Yoga, Hatha (Static) Yoga, Anusara® Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Chair Yoga, Perinatal Yoga, Forrest-Inspired Yoga and Yin. I am also a qualified to teach Pranayama (breath exercises), Meditation, Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques. I teach small group classes, 1-2-1 teaching and corporate clients, face-to-face, online, indoors and outdoors and do cover classes by arrangement
I am passionate about anything related to yoga and sharing the joyous benefits of yoga with others in a safe, friendly and relaxing environment. My dharma (passion) is to hold space and empower individuals to practice embodied yoga, meditation, mindufulness and pranayama (breath work) with compassion, awareness and joy. My vision is to make yoga accessible, inclusive and workable for all bodies by offering versatile alignment options. I love to deliver uplifting meaningful creative classes with heart and soul in a nourishing calm space that will impart a sense of overall wellbeing, community, serenity, and inspiration.
Everyone is welcome at my yoga classes. I always weave a meaningful relevant theme into each of my classes and include breathwork, meditation, the full range of yoga poses, relaxation and selective readings, quotations or poems.. I am qualified and experienced in different types of yoga depending on what is appropriate for the individual. As well as teaching hatha (static) yoga, I run gentle and dynamic vinyasa (flow) classes. In addition, I teach restorative yoga and yoga Nidra for deep relaxation.
