Hi! I'm Christine and have been practicing all types of yoga for over 12 years and am passionate about anything related to yoga and sharing the joyous benefits of yoga with others in a safe, friendly and relaxing environment. I completed a 200 hour Anusara® Immersion and Teaching Training in 2018-2019. I am also a qualified yin yoga teacher and have trained to teach meditation. Currently, I am studying for 300 hour Advanced Teacher Training. I teach in the greater Guildford area, in and around Cheltenham and elsewhere by arrangement as well as online, indoors and outdoors.. I love to teach group classes, small groups, one to ones and get involved in corporate group lessons, workshops and corporate events. I specialise in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa (flow) Yoga, Anusara® Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Yin.
Everyone is welcome at my yoga classes. I believe yoga is accessible to everybody. I place a strong emphasis on correct alignment and always weave a meaningful relevant theme into each of my classes and include breathwork, meditation, the full range of yoga poses, relaxation and selective readings/poems. I create a calm serene friendly and safe sanctuary for my students and like to enhance my classes with scented candles or essential oils , soothing music and pertinent poetry, quotation and readings.. My main aim is to ensure that you walk off your yoga mat feeling better and happier than when you stepped onto the mat.
I teach zoom yoga classes to private 1-2-1 and group and corporate clients. This includes vinyasa yoga, restorative yoga, hatha yoga, yin yoga and restorative yoga as well as yoga nidra, pranayama (breath work) and mediation.
Private yoga and meditation sessions can be tailored and personalised to meet your specific requirements and goals and flexible to fit in with your schedule and preferred location. This can de indoors or outdoors or online.
This is a fun, motivational way to practice yoga on a regular basis, get fit and meet other like-minded yogis.
Yoga and meditation can help to promote health and physical and mental wellbeing amongst your workforce. It is possible to arrange regular classes with a qualified yoga teacher to fit around work hours such as lunchtime or before or after work) as well as one-off sessions like away days, conferences and team building sessions.
Is your regular yoga teacher unavailable ? Don't cancel the class and disappoint your students. I may be able to help. I have covered dynamic flow, gentle flow, hatha, Iyengar, restorative, yoga nidra and yin.
I have run various successful workshops like Yoga Nidra for Sleep Deprivation and Insomnia, Introduction to Anusara® Practice and Principles, Extended Restorative and Yoga Nidra, Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, ,Autumn Equinox , Winter Solstice, Introduction to Meditation and Meditation and Mindfulness in the Workplace.
