Hi! My name is Christine. I have been practicing all types of yoga for over ten years and am passionate about anything related to yoga and sharing the joyous benefits of yoga with others in a safe, friendly and relaxing environment.
I completed a 200 hour Anusara® Immersion and Teaching Training at Red Hot Yoga Studio in Guildford in 2018-2019. This course is accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals. As well as this, I am also a qualified yin yoga teacher. I am a certified Anusara Elements™ yoga teacher and am fully-insured and registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals. In addition, I am certified to provide Emergency First Aid at Work. I am currently taking a teacher training course in meditation.
I teach in the greater Guildford area, Cheltenham and elsewhere by arrangement as well as online. I love to teach group classes, small groups, one to ones and get involved in corporate group lessons, workshops and corporate events. I have experience of teaching all levels including beginners, those with injuries as well as experienced yogis. I teach face-to-face classes and also virtual classes using zoom. I specialise in Anusara® Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Yin. Currently, I also teach hatha yoga where poses are held for a few breaths as well as gentle, and dynamic vinyasa yoga where poses flow with the breath. In addition,
I am constantly developing my personal practice and knowledge and read widely, attend workshops and training on a regular basis and go as a yoga students to a wide-range of yoga and fitness classes on a daily basis.
Everyone is welcome. I believe yoga is accessible to everybody. I place a strong emphasis on correct alignment and always weave a meaningful relevant theme into each of my classes and include breathwork, meditation, relaxation and selective readings/poems. I create a calm serene and safe sanctuary for my students and like to enhance my classes with scented candles or essential oils and soothing music. My main aim is to ensure that you walk off your yoga mat feeling better and happier than when you stepped onto the mat.
Would you like to practice yoga and meditation from home? I am insured to run live online yoga classes. Since March 2020, I have been streamlining yoga classes to private and corporate clients using Zoom. This includes vinyasa yoga, hatha yoga, yin yoga and restorative yoga as well as yoga nidra, pranayama and mediation. I also upload recorded yoga classes regularly on my private Facebook Group. In addition, I am recording regular audio mindfulness meditations for clients, family and friends.

It is also possible to organise small group sessions for a more personalised approach to practicing yoga and meditation For example, you may like to share a bespoke yoga class with your friends at a convenient time to suit you and a location of your choice.

Since qualifying, I have covered the full range of yoga classes including dynamic flow, gentle flow, hatha, Iyengar, restorative, yoga nidra and yin.
